Changing my major !

When I first started school my major was Early Childhood Education. I always wanted to be a first grade teacher like my mother since the age of 7. As I started exploring other major’s I became interested in Speech Pathology. As a child my brother always had speech classes so I want to help make a difference in people’s lives. This career will still give me an opportunity work inside of a school. A lot of people choose careers because of salary or the requirements it takes but I want to make a difference. I can’t wait until I can start helping children! 

First semester is almost over!

Well my first semester of college is almost over. When I first started college I was scared of what the outcome would be. Once I got adjusted to the whole college feel I started to enjoy it. When I was in high school English was my favorite subject. English 1101 was kind of a struggle for me since my writing skills were still on a high school level. I think the hardest part for me was maturing my vocabulary. Most of my word selections were very basic and needed much improvement. English 1101 has helped me get my college journey started. Now I’m ready for English 1102 next semester!
